I use Windows 10 64 bits.

This demo coded using the DIV 2 Games Studio:
Car physics engine V1.0 beta 1

that can be downloaded here:
https://div-arena.co.uk/wips/view/161

does not execute.
It can be played online in that website (it uses some kind of DOSBox for the web)

Shows this prompt:

Error: Out of memory!

I tried several combinations of EMS, XMS and UMB without success.

With this combination:
xms=false
ems=true
umb=false

The error message is a little bit different but refers to the same problem:

Not Enough Memory Available!

I also tried core=normal, core=dynamic, core=auto without success.

DIV 2 Games Studio can be downloaded here:
https://archive.org/details/div-games-studio-2

The game need the file DIV32RUN.DLL to be in the same folder (it's not actually a Windows library, it's a DOS library).

How can it be executed in DOSBox?

I get the same error with the DLL that is 319969 bytes in size, but it's mostly working with the one that is 329179 bytes in size. I say mostly because the 1024x768 resolution doesn't seem to be working properly, it just stays in mode 13h from the menu, like it doesn't bother to switch modes.

Thanks, it works with the bigger DLL!
But yes, only properly with 640x480 and 800x600 modes.

I don't have now real hardware to try if 1024x768 would work.

Have you tried setting memsize to something bigger than 16? I think the maximum allowed by vanilla DOSBox is 63, but you can take a fork like DOSBox-X and set memsize to 512.

Generally, it seems that the "heavier" DIV Games Studio games have better chances running in DOSBox-X.
