I just installed a 750ti in my zotac 9300 itx motherboard running windows xp. I'd like to use HDMI audio out through the card. With the latest xp Nvidia driver installed, I see Nvdia HD audio in my devices and it says it is fully operational. When I go to audio devices, there is only Realtek listed. Any ideas on how I can get the audio coming out through the 750ti?

I have the exact same problem, did you manage to solve it?

I had the same problem and never managed to solve it. You might be out of luck with an Nvidia card – I had HDMI audio working on Intel integrated graphics and Nvidia's XP drivers are crippled in other areas.

Try installing the MS UAA driver KB888111. If the package doesn't install then extract with 7-zip and install manually.

Trying googling on this ... it seems this is supposed to be already included in XP SP3 so that wont work for me as I'm already on that version 🙁

Indeed, the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio is already included in the WinXP SP3.

But here's funny thing: it doesn't install automatically, some trigger has to happen.
In my case it was a connected HDMI TV! I saw the UAA driver installation window for a second and WinXP detected a new sound device.

I noticed this behavior on the Sapphire Radeon HD 5670 with Catalyst 13.4 driver. I thought the UAA driver would be installed along with the Catalyst driver, regardless of whether the HDMI is connected or not.

The attachment uaa-bus.png is no longer available

I also have ASUS GTX 750 Ti, I'll try to check it later.

I dont know about Nvidia, but ATi/AMD usually has HDMI Audio separate drivers for XP, like for catalyst 7.11 its 7-11_xp32_hdmiaudio_54435.exe

Hdmi audio is working fine for me in Windows XP SP3 - I have GTX 750Ti with drivers 344.11.

However I had Radeon HD 7750 in this computer before (same Windows XP installation), so maybe it is the reason 😉

AMD HDMI Audio driver is already included in the newer versions of Catalyst (e.g. Catalyst v.13.4), I installed it together with the graphic driver. But the AMD sound device was not listed. Then I connected TV to HDMI (instead of my main DVI-monitor) and then everything happened as I described above.
