I tried to run some games on the Toshiba Libretto 50CT that are DOS games; but got hard time to configure the audio.

I installed the original W95 image, but when it boot up I do not boot in windows95, but in dos; so after the first splashscreen showing W95, it show the C> prompt.

My understanding is that at this point, all the drivers are loaded, isn't it? But when I try some games it show me either the sound from speaker or from SB as option, but I can't hear much the sounds at all.
For example in Wolfenstein I can hear the music but the steps are muffled and same for the gunshots. Tried to change the effects to use PC speaker and it does play sounds fine but they are loud and pretty low quality; while when I select SB for midi and effects, it does play pretty poorly.

Do I have to load some program to tell DOS that it has to use the OPL3? I have the original image that came with the 50CT, which has W95 on it and all the drivers; so not sure if I need anything else.

Thanks, it worked. Although how do you change the volume without call setupSA? Is there a program running in the backend that let you bind buttons to change volume, as you would do in a linux machine for example?
