So I've been trying out the older games again and I got to NFS Carbon. I've applied the widescreen fix and the extra options mods, but that's not the issue.
I can't change the controls for: Map, Messages, Next Song, Look Behind, etc. These controls are not available in the controls menu.
I wish to have the Map open with Tab, Messages with `, Look Behind with B (like it was in the previous games), etc.
How can I change the hidden controls in NFSC?

I don't have the game installed right now, and if I did, it would be on my XP machine, but I would have to guess that any controls are saved in a config file. Maybe you can edit the config file directly?

AFAIK, that functionality was previously part of the NFSC Widescreen Fix but that's been depreacated in favor of XtendedInput, which allows for improved compatibility for both DirectInput (X360) and Xinput (XBOX One/XBOX Series x & S) based gamepads., thus allowing better rebinding and compatibility with, even, older versions of Microsoft Windows.
