Does anyone else get a cozy feeling on days when it's raining outside?

I can picture myself sitting down with a snack and drink and playing some RollerCoaster Tycoon or The Sims. The nice warm glow of the CRT 😊.

Got any favourite games or machines for days like these?

I'm the opposite sadly; I get intensely depressed and easily agitated at everything whenever the weather is not great. Pressure differences aren't great either.

I feel the same way, rainy days are great if you had nothing planned for that day anyway. The chances are very high that my 486 will be running for a few hours and I'll play some fatal racing or Transport Tycoon 😀

As long as the power doesn't go out. Even better than rain days for some of us are snow days.

As long as it's peaceful. It's refreshing when it cools hot air during summer.

I'll always associate rainy days and snowy days with playing computer games and dialing up BBSs, because that's mostly what I did for much of my adolescence whenever the weather prevented me from going outside or hanging out with my friends.

I love rainy days for that exact reason! although it more reminds me playing Lego in my pre-teens.
Got similar feel living in the UK for 15 years during winter when it's dark and cold outside. Perfect for staying inside and playing games. I actually do miss that now I'm back in oz.

Only in the past 5 years did I start getting in the mood for Ski Region Simulator 2012. Maybe as I had given up skiing for real.

Every Easter holidays I get in the mood to play the original C&C, and Warcraft 2 during the summer holidays as that's when I first got the games.
When I moved to the UK I'd still get the urge for C&C in the Autumn and Warcraft in the summer. It was the weather my nostalgia was tied to more more then the time of year.

I like rainy days, as well. It makes the world feel calmer, slower paced.
The rain clouds seem like a mantle that softly rests upon (or below?) our sky.

I love the look, sounds, and smells of a rainy day... As long as I'm not working outside. 😀

Rainfall, thunderstorms, both make me want to take a nap. Once I'm well rested, play games!

Snow, similar effect, minus the naps, and as long as I get to stay home.
