So the day after I did all of this, I tried this morning to continue to diagnose Windows 98 SE driver problems. All was well until I clicked device manager after looking at the windows information tag. Much to my horror, I was then greeted with a blue screen so I closed the program, then I got another blue screen and then multiple error messages related to windows explorer one of which was in gibberish 🙁
Attached are the images of the errors I got in order. On the last error, the computer locked up and I restarted and the hard drive didn't do anything, just a flashing cursor. The partitions still seem to be intact. I have observed this error only on Windows 98 SE, it strangely didn't happen on 98lite (though other problems did occur but none as destructive). My memtest86 run indicated no issues though I will continue to run in case of something random happening.
