Hi All,

Man, glad I stumbled across this place!

I'm using VDMLaunch to run Indycar Racing 2 (DOS) in Windows 2000. Everything seems to be OK, got sound, runs right speed and I can run in high resolution with VESA compatibility.

One problem now... when trying to set my controls in the game, I cannot set them to my USB Logitech gamepad. As soon as I go to map a key, immediately MOUSE X < jumps in. I have a USB Intellimouse, but I dont think it is the mouse causing the grief.

Any ideas? My joypad is set to ID#1 in control panel and works fine - indeed actually can calibrate it in the game.

Thanks for any help,

Paul

I imagine there is a config file that you can manually edit. Why it would think your mouse is moving is strange. You might try running it with Mouse2KV. Something silly like that might clear it up.

Yes, it’s my fault.

Thanks Snoves - its my fault, I searched around a bit last night and found that its actually a bug in the DOS version of the game. I downloaded the patch that was released to fix it and its all ok now!

Paul.
