Testing Lotus: The Ultimate Challenge and Dangerous Dave 1 in 86box using the mentioned cards, the games run super fast, as in they are severely sped up. Reported it to the devs but was told it could be a hardware issue.

If you have those games and cards, does it happen on real hardware?

What CPU are you emulating?

It's not the CPU. Using a 386, basically every other VGA card works, except for the above mentioned. The hypothesis is that the games' speed is probably linked to the video card's sync and those chips aren't emulated properly, but need testing on real hardware to make sure they work fine there.

Tested both games on 386DX-40, 64KB cache, 4MB memory with ISA ET4000/w32 1MB and ET4000/w32i 2MB.

It seems both games run as they are supposed to. I'm attaching the config info and games date info.

I can also test on another 386 with 256KB cache.

Thanks. It has to be an emulation issue then. I'll let them know.
