1 and 2 don't have CD audio as far as I've seen, and 3 is already in the txt file.

Then mention it's the german release that has it, and probably also write the german name. The english releases do not.

In any case, they are already in the txt list posted by HeroponRikiBestest and I.

Ok, ok, bro, show us your hidden txt file first 😀 since we don't have access to your desktop. And I can guarantee you don't update it often.

I think in your txt, There are some inaccuracies, or at the very least, it's lacking in detail.
- Stonekeep don't have cd audio tracks except intro music of CGI cinematics in cd audio format. All others audio tracks are midi.
- clouds of xeen 's cd audio tracks are speech tracks of dialogue and not music. Same thing for World of xeen. It was midi music even for cd version. Audio cd speech track only but not audio cd track.

Absolutely, I didn't and couldn't check all of them. It's just a cleaner variant of HeroponRikiBestest's list, which is simply based on redump. I was hoping people would check it out and point out the missing or non-music ones.

That's good. This is the kind of information that's needed.

Although these games don't use it for music, they still use the tracks for other purposes, so I'd say they can stay but need to be noted.

Searched in deepseek, you can ask it to list top 100:
===
Here’s a table listing classic PC games that utilized **CD audio** for their soundtracks, enhancing the gaming experience with high-quality music:

| **Game Title** | **Year** | **Developer/Publisher** | **Notes** |
|------------------------------|----------|-------------------------------|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| **The 7th Guest** | 1993 | Trilobyte/Virgin Interactive | Early CD-ROM game with immersive audio. |
| **Myst** | 1993 | Cyan/Ubisoft | CD audio enhanced the atmospheric puzzle adventure. |
| **Doom** | 1993 | id Software | CD version had Redbook audio for music. |
| **Wing Commander III** | 1994 | Origin Systems/EA | Featured live-action cutscenes with CD audio. |
| **Command & Conquer** | 1995 | Westwood Studios/EA | CD audio tracks for its iconic soundtrack. |
| **The Need for Speed** | 1995 | EA Canada/EA | Used CD audio for high-quality engine sounds and music. |
| **Descent** | 1995 | Parallax/Interplay | Redbook audio soundtrack for immersive space combat. |
| **Quake** | 1996 | id Software | CD version included Trent Reznor’s soundtrack in Redbook audio. |
| **Diablo** | 1996 | Blizzard North/Blizzard | CD audio enhanced the dark fantasy atmosphere. |
| **Riven** | 1997 | Cyan/Red Orb | Sequel to *Myst* with a rich CD audio soundtrack. |
| **Fallout** | 1997 | Interplay/Black Isle | Featured atmospheric CD audio tracks. |
| **StarCraft** | 1998 | Blizzard Entertainment | CD audio for cinematic music and in-game tracks. |
| **Grim Fandango** | 1998 | LucasArts | Jazz-inspired CD audio soundtrack. |
| **Baldur’s Gate** | 1998 | BioWare/Interplay | CD audio for orchestral and ambient music. |
| **Half-Life** | 1998 | Valve/Sierra | Some versions included CD audio for music and effects. |
| **System Shock 2** | 1999 | Irrational Games/EA | CD audio enhanced its cyber-horror atmosphere. |
| **Planescape: Torment** | 1999 | Black Isle/Interplay | CD audio for its haunting, immersive score. |
| **Homeworld** | 1999 | Relic/Sierra | CD audio for its orchestral space-themed soundtrack. |

### **Why CD Audio?**
- **Redbook Audio (CD-DA)**: Many early CD-ROM games used standard CD audio tracks for high-quality music playback.
- **Atmosphere & Immersion**: Games like *Myst*, *The 7th Guest*, and *Grim Fandango* relied on CD audio for a richer experience.
- **Limited Storage**: Before MP3 compression, CD audio was the best way to include high-fidelity music.

Would you like a list of **DOS-era** CD audio games or more from a specific genre (e.g., adventure, RPG, FPS)?

Wow! This is all slop disinformation! EIGHT of the games mentioned have an ADPCM soundtrack!!! Only two of the games are actually redbook! Some of them are so stuffed with FMV/voice/sound they possibly can't fit any redbook!

tl;dr: ai fucking sucks.

I've gotten two separate tabulated lists of top 100 cd and non cd based dos games with recommended CPU to stretch the legs of my picogus usb cdload feature. It does have errors but for the most part does what it does pretty effectively

One DOS Game i've saw nowhere listed yet for his Redbook audio capabilities :

- ESPN Extreme Games / 1Xtreme
Game published by Sony Interactive Entertainment on PC (MS-DOS only).

For reference :

FILE "ESPNExtremeGames.bin" BINARY

INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO

INDEX 01 26:00:39
TRACK 06 AUDIO
INDEX 01 31:09:18

No redump dump exist so far i'm aware.
Contrary to the Playstation version who is known ans famous, the DOS version seems completely forgotten by people.
