Hi. I'm having an issue running Star Trek: Judgment Rites (CD version) with the latest D-Fend Reloaded. After configuring the profile and starting the game up (after the mount screens), it gives the following error message:
Internal error:
Can't open C:\STJRCD\uncomp/logo.anm
Game aborted...
However, the file in question is located within that folder. On a hunch, I installed the game in and ran the game through a standard DOSBOX installation I still had (without the front-end), and the game worked fine. If I import that same .conf file into D-Fend Reloaded, I get the error message again. So it leads me to believe its due to a discrepancy within the configuration files and how D-Fend reads it (and possibly due to my own error, because I'm an absolute moron when it comes to understanding mounting in DOSBOX, let alone D-Fend Reloaded)
Here's how the configuration file looks when I ran it strictly through DOSBOX (which works fine):
[autoexec]
mount C "C:\DOS"
mount D "C:\DOS\CDrive" -ioctl -t cdrom
C:
cd/
cd stjrcd
TREKJR.EXE
---------------------
Here's how the configuration file looks when its installed and runs through D-Fend Reloaded:
[autoexec]
@echo off
SET PATH=Z:\
keyb US 437 > nul
mixer MASTER 85:100 /NOSHOW
mount C "C:\DOS"
mount D "C:\DOS\CDrive" -ioctl -t cdrom
D: [my note: if I change this to C: like the other one, it still doesn't work]
cd/
cd stjrcd
TREKJR.EXE
--------------------
If anyone requires further clarification (it's confusing me just writing it), please feel free to ask. I would appreciate any help anyone would be able to provide. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Both DOSBOX's are 0.72
