I recently picked up a Chaintech ATX motherboard with the Intel HX chipset and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had a standard nine pin USB header. Then I tried to plug a USB backplate, and I realized the ninth pin was on the opposite side and a nine pin plug wouldn't fit because of it! Another quirk it has is that you have to hit the power button to shut it off when using an ATX power supply. Early hardware has its quirks.

I did indeed receive a shiny PA-2005 from ebay, except the seller packed it in a very flimsy box, so some of you may shed a tear over these photos... Such a shame.

That's criminal. I really don't get why people ship things like that - it will just cost them refunds and a bad reputation.

The above photos tilt the universe out of balance, but here's in hopes to slightly tilt back. Yes, the lights are from a wifi bridge all the way to the left. Probably deserves a separate thread, but I wonder how you set up your I/O when you do not have USB or a working floppy. I always create a small samba share to access using a wifi bridge, but this thing on my network is certainly an additional vulnerability.
