GOG builds are notorious for not being exactly optimized. For starters, why don't you try a newer SVN build of DOSBox instead of 0.74-3? Like the one here?

Also, when DOSBox crashes, it should leave a stderr.txt file in its folder. Can you reproduce the crash, then grab this file and upload it here?

I looked at your stdout file. People with more knowledge than I might help you, but what you could try doing is:
- force DOSBox to use normal core instead of dynamic
- try turning off sound and music and see if the game is more stable

None of this might work though.

As a DOSBox alternative, you could try playing the game in 86box with FreeDOS installed, here's a brief guide to set this up.

Please, with the special character T17 robot, the game crashes after 15 matches. FIX THE PROBLEM IN DOS BOX, PLEASE!!!!!

check gog post, updated more info, also floppy version has cheat codes, cd does not. CD version does not have character endings, afaik.

When you unlock T17 The characters no longer get greyed out when defeated, don't know what happens after beating the game with T17?

Good idea to try it with dosbox the crashes are with the DOSBOX and Gog versions. I have save state files in DOSBOX-X... The game installer (not a part of Dosbox) may set the irq wrong when installing the game. Could try and report DOSBOX install. A hassle is1. seperating GOG version of dosbox from the game and 2. learning how to install it. May have already recorded the process with obs from GOG dosbox to DOSBOX-X.

Legolas77 info gives evidence: GogDOSBOX and DOSBOX have irq's set wrong , maybe from the game's installer: irq=5
dma=1
hdma=7 worked for me.
The website compatability list may want to be updated to reflect this for the gog CD version of the game, if not already, don't know about the floppy installer for the game floppy version.
