Hi! I played a lot of games with it with 1.44mb floppy disk. Tandy sounds is much better than i imagined, much better than standard pc speaker and i connected it to my logitech speakers.
But i cant get the xt-ide to be recognized. Check the pictures. i tried it at CEOOO and CCOOO. i'm not very familiar with the xt-ide. it took me a lot of time to get it working on my ibm 5150. My xt-ide is the one with hdd. because i prefer it over cf card. Thanks for help guys.

i should get it soon.. in dos i input " restart "
they ask me front or bottom drive. i thought i choose front drive and i got this screen ( what is it front or bottom ? )
( i have ontrack manager overlay on it )
I got it working. look at my 2 adapter to get it working with a 2.5 sata hdd for laptop 🤣 !
Is it a way to get the xt-ide boot at each time i turn on the computer ? otherwise i will have to exit the desktar os each time and do restart, to get the xt-ide recognize. Thanks for a lot answer
Don't know about the xt-ide vs. drive overlay.
I had problems getting my RLX to use a hard drive with its own bios.
Once I got the drive working I had to run RLXsetup and change the boot order.
Not sure if others have gotten a Tandy working with a non-smartdrive
Glad you got it working! Tandy systems are great to use.
Unfortunately, the 220V power supply of my Tandy 1000 TL has stopped working, and I'm now looking for a replacement. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a ready-made Tandy to ATX adapter somewhere?

A PicoPSU is enough to run a 1000TL, but I haven't seen a ready-made tandy to ATX adapter.
