Hey Vogons, Apologies if the thread is in the wrong place. But I'm having an issue with my C840 and Windows 98.

Non of the sound drivers I use seem to work. I know the machine was intended for XP/2K however I've found every driver and work around for it to work with Windows 98SE. The last problem I'm having is with the audio. I've attempted to use the headphone jack as well and I do get that static when you plug it in and out but no audio. I tried to revert the BIOS via Floppy but that didn't work either. So I don't suppose anyone could lend a hand with even some basic drivers to get the audio working? Cheers!

The Current Crystal driver I'm using (I have also used both the 7 & 9 versions yet still the same)

So I managed to get Audio out of the headphone jack but not the speakers. Unsure if it is a hardware or software issue
