There are a few topics here mentioning the hiss with these cards. Mine is hissing rather loudly, seems to be analog and unrelated to actual sound output (the hiss is there when muted). This isn't me being nitpicky, because I was testing one of Dell's SB Live! cards on the same machine and couldn't hear any hissing with the same headphones. Tried several headphones, too. The card is currently in a slot all the way at the board edge pretty far away from any crowding, but the hiss is basically the same in every slot I tried.

Has anyone figured a way to deal with this?
