I have a Foxconn 7950GT 512mb with the blower style fan.

Although it works, it's horribly loud and idles at 55c. Under load, it spikes to 90c. It's pretty clear that this crappy heatsink is not enough for such a high TDP card.

I've seen a few 3rd party VGA heatsinks but they're pretty rare and/or expensive on eBay. Are there any other heatsink models that would go well with this card and don't cost a fortune?

Maby a cooler from a 7800 GTX will work.
The PCB looks almost identical, but im not 100% about the holespacing.
Should it fit the "OEM" cooler is pretty awesome:

I considered it, but even a broken 7800 GTX is around $100. Seems other coolers on eBay are also for low TDP cards since they have tiny heatsinks and 40 or 50mm fans.

These coolers won't work that easy anyway, they use 4-pin fans.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.
