Once again I'm looking for a file that was once freely available on the Microsoft website.
This time, it's one of the examples that Microsoft distributed to promote their OpenGL implementation.

GLEXT: Demo of GL_WIN_swap_hint & GL_EXT_vertex_array

A full list of Microsoft examples was available in the old OpenGL FAQ maintained by ARB:
https://www.opengl.org/archives/resources/faq … cal/mslinks.htm
Surprisingly, this is the only example that seems to have disappeared without a trace from anywhere. I managed to get all the others, but this one somehow didn't survive in the Wayback Machine, and I couldn't find it on many of the MSLFILES disc images available on Archive.org.

This file is especially important because the Khronos registry does not contain a specification for this extension.
https://community.khronos.org/t/gl-win-swap-hint/18078
https://community.khronos.org/t/about-glbindt … ntrectwin/40824

my English is broken beyond any repair, and I'm really sorry for that.

As a windows only extension that didn't impact anything else in the OpenGL spec it wouldn't need an official registry entry.

It only added one function which is completely documented at https://web.archive.org/web/20001119220500/ht … func01_16zy.htm

I've had a quick look through my archives and can't see that file unfortunately.
