I'm having trouble with a stubborn Mitac 286 system—also known under various names like Paragon 286, MPC-2000SL, and PWA-286. Unfortunately, documentation is scarce, especially when it comes to the maze of jumpers on the motherboard. I'm running into a few frustrating limitations:

- RAM is capped at 640KB
- Only 5.25" floppy drives work—both with the onboard controller and a multi I/O card
- IDE hard drives won’t work—neither CF cards nor actual drives are recognized

Given these constraints, I'm wondering if this system could benefit from PicoMEM.

My question is: Can PicoMEM bypass the floppy and hard drive controller issues entirely, and if so, are there any caveats I should be aware of?
