This is awkward, but I don't know where else to post it. My system is a 2002 Dell optiplex GX260, but it's not original spec. It has a 2.66 P4, 1gb ram and an MX440 GPU, with winXP SP3.

As the title suggest, the game Starts, I can hear it, but I get no image. And yes I can even interact with it. I managed to get into gameplay, but still, I couldn't see anything.

I have nglide installed(game doesn't start without it). I tried various settings and resolutions as well as compatibility settings, I even tried a different monitor, but to no effect. What I haven't tried is to see if the game has some sort of config file in which there's some sort of skullduggery going on with the resolution that can't be overridden by other means. I get no errors of any kind

What version are you running? There were patches for various versions of the game.

I just updated to patch 1.3.

In any case, I downloaded DGvoodoo 1.40 and it initially seemed to work. It shows the intros and the menu and the first cutscene, but when I try to start the game, it stops after showing me the letters of the location and time, I can hear the helicopter, but I can't do anything else other alt tabbing out of the game to close it. DGvoodoo has a lot of options and I am not sure if I have to do a specific combination for the game to work.

I will try older Nvidia drivers(currently using 93.81, which was available through Nvidia's site and it's the latest that support the 440), though I expected it would be easier to find em. As for directX, the mx440 goes up to 7. That's what I got. I do plan to get a 6200 or a X1050 at some point.
