NOTE: This is my first post here.

As you know, Windows NT 4.0 combines the power of Windows NT with the shell of Windows 95, But when i try to install a game called "Microsoft Return of Arcade" in NT 4.0, i get a message saying it's not intended to use with my version of Windows, which i don't get it considering NT 4.0 was released in 1996, a year after 95, So is there anyway to install Return of Arcade in NT 4.0?

Don't believe me? Here's proof: https://imgur.com/a/RD0Y8zy

NT4 didn't have the support for all Windows 95 APIs. Like, for example, it didn't support DirectX. Although Return of Arcade doesn't use DirectX - it uses WING (DirectX predecessor). Did WING even exist on NT?

If it did, the obvious solution would be to install on a platform the game installer actually supports (Windows 95 or 98, usually) , then move the installed folder to NT. Just keep the locations same (C:\Games\MSRoA, for example).

Edit 1:

It seems WING worked on NT 3.5. It's likely it will work on NT4, too. The source: https://jeffpar.github.io/kbarchive/kb/125/Q125698/, especially this part:

WinG (pronounced "Win Gee") is an optimized library designed to enable these high-performance graphics techniques under Windows version 3.x, Win32s, Windows NT version 3.5, Windows 95, and future Windows releases.

Edit 2:

Might be wise to first try installing WING on NT4 before trying to run the games from RoA.

I wonder if it's just an arbitrary check by setup program. Have you tried installing on a different computer, then copying the installed files over to the NT4 computer?
