That really did the trick with the sound. However, there is an issue regarding 8 bit colour modes, nVidia drivers and Windows 7 which affects the game's menus and everything that uses 8 bit colour modes, making it all appear in black and white/greyscale. This issue is present in all 4xx.xx drivers. During races it's fine because it might use 16 or 32 bit colour mode. Using a ddraw wrapper makes the colours appear again but it crashes S40 when i click on Options.
