It's been about 30 years since i played this game im getting the error about not having the cd in the drive is there any virtual cd mounting app that wil work for this game ????daemon tools doesn't seem to work

It is possible to run it without anything mounted at all, but requires some hex editing, and then prodding the registry.

Try looking on "Qhimm forums" via google for your query. Its defunct, but internet archive has the needed pages backed up.
