I just found the DOS demo of Amiga Wizard of Wor clone called Monsters of Terror. It looks like the full DOS version was never completed. The game was originally shareware, but now you can download the full Amiga game from the authors' website.

The DOS demo was found using DiscMaster on this CD:

I found an unusual version of Electronic Popple and cannot establish its provenance.

This version was found via DiscMaster on this Italian CD with a third-party installer. I used Universal Extractor to unpack the files. The binary executable is dated 16 May 1997, plus there are some screenshots dating from 2000.

On the title screen, there's a note saying NON COMMERCIAL USE ONLY in red, and the help option is missing from the menu. The first level that loads when you start the game is different from the first level in the regular demo and, presumably, in the full game. This version is also about half the size of the regular demo. No documentation is included, and no information about this version or its origins is to be found on the CD or its packaging.

I found the regular demo of the game via the Wayback Machine here: EPdemo.exe

If anyone's interested, here's a rather rare Win95 demo of Caesar II:
https://discmaster.textfiles.com/browse/11463 … ames/Caesar%202

It seems to run too fast on modern PCs, although there is an option to decrease playing speed. On default settings, an in-game year passes in about a second, making the demo unplayable. Yes, I played it with DxWnd.

The game runs in windowed mode with all menus implemented as native Win GUI elements, unlike the DOS version.

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for old files related to Action SuperCross (1997), a 2D motorbike simulator for DOS. I am helping with an article regarding the community history of the game (lev7.org/60).

My main interest is replay (.rec) files of the built-in internal levels from 1997-1999, since they are still pretty scarce and would have good historic value in building a timeline of players' improvemements over time. Additionally, I am looking for old state.dat files from 1997 as well, to pinpoint some of the earliest players of the game and their skill level.

I know this isn't really a game per se, but rather additional files to an already existing game, and is a very niche topic to ask about, but I've seen some people here mention some resources that I've already exhausted (Apajalista, Discmaster, FTP searches, Wayback Machine, Google's Usenet archives), so I was wondering if there was a chance any of you could point me in a new direction to look, or potentially have some files left over yourselves by accident.

Thank you in advance for all answers!
