Is there a good, preferably free, Windows program that will batch convert folders of images to separate .PDF files, please?

I have some magazine scans in .jpg format, each issue is in a separate folder, like this:

\Your Spectrum 01\
\Your Spectrum 02\
\Your Spectrum 03\
\Your Spectrum 04\

and I want to be able to convert each folder into it's own .PDF file, so I end up with Your Spectrum 01.pdf, Your Spectrum 02.pdf, Your Spectrum 03.pdf, Your Spectrum 04.pdf, etc.

Thanks for any answers.

IrfanView with plugins, probably.

No, or at least I can't find a way to make it process separate folders to separate PDF files. And it's official forum recently closed down due to too much spam, so I can't inquire there. Irvanfiew is a superb program that, I've used it for *years*, and the only thing it lacks is a bookmark feature, for when you're reading through the pages.

Govert's Image to PDF maybe?

No, again, it doesn't seem to process folders as individual collections to be converted to individual PDF files.

I've had no luck via Google, either, but there must be a program, amongst the million other PDF related programs on the 'net, that can do this, surely?

Have you looked into this ? https://juanjose.garciaripoll.com/blog/combin … ript/index.html

It uses Ghostscript, MikTex and scoop to seemingly do what you want done.
though, I have no idea why the need for MikTeX and scoop.

good luck.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.
