Thanks. It's not easy to determine remotely which check is causing it. Can you please run "HWINFO - r" - that should automatically produce a report file

Hmm, looks like the OAK chip was properly detected.
Can you try to disable the "Check Video RAMDAC" option in settings if that wil lhelp?

Same result.

By the way - rebooting results in a black screen. I have to cold boot to get everything back.

Well, I guess I will have to get such a card and run tests...
The only alternate way would be to create a special HWiNFO version which would require a key press prior to each VGA chip test (HWiNFO displays at the bottom of screen which chip is tested) so you could capture the moment when it goes wrong..

Hello, I recently worked on a couple of 486 ISAs, and I wanted to try your program HWINFO 626, I loaded it into a bootable CF with DOS 5, and then I transferred it to the disk of one of the two PCs, but when I try the HWINFO16 version, it works but there is less info, if instead I run HWINFO, the PC crashes on the CPU Reset screen [Method 1], this only happens for the Mainboard info, while everything else works, unfortunately I am forced to turn it off, in order to continue, I tried to create a file, but it's only a few bytes.
Maybe if you have suggestions I'll try again, the motherboard is an AT Industrial PINE PT-2068.1 with Intel i486SX25 at 33 MHz.

You can disable the CPU Reset Method 1 option in Configuration.

Ok Thank you very much, now it works, I memorized the setting and created the files, if you need them I attach them here.
It currently does not recognize the motherboard, which would be a PINE PT-2068.1, which is the same as the MB457 present on TRW.
These days I will try other 486 cards, eventually if you are interested, I can try it and create the files.

Here are the files extracted from the MB PINE, they're inside the zip file.
I'm adding the TRW link to show the board, and the main BIOS screen.
I'll need to upgrade the CPU later; currently, I have an i486SX25, but I've been running it at 33 MHz.

Hi, yes, no problem. If you're interested, I have the files from a QDI Advance10T with a P3S-1266, and other Slot1 PCs, from which I can extract information.
However, on the P3S-1266, the program works fine, but on the PINE 486 iSX25, it seems like it didn't detect the sound card, even though there are currently no drivers, and I haven't been able to verify whether it works.

So, I booted up a PIII 500 Slot 1, the motherboard is an OLIDATA OLI-BX, basically the same as the ASUS P2B, and I created the files I'm attaching.
If you'd prefer, I can collect some of them, rather than posting them one at a time. I'll try booting up a few more PCs in the next few days and post more files.

Thank you. It's OK to upload them one by one. And btw, the older ones (pre-PCI era) are most interesting because detection of such systems is much tougher.
