Hello, so i need some help. i am creating a modified version of windows xp pro sp2 64bit. im wanting it to have every single update all up to 2020. and some well known unofficial updates made by trusted members of the community as well. i have also noticed there seems to be an indexing issue with windows xp pro 64bit sp2, where it eats up all of ram and i believe it is a memory leak. i had 40gb of ram in my system and after i ran all updates on my system it was running windows search indexing and ate up all of my ram and then my pc blue screened and restarted. im going to attempent to captuer more information about this as well and post a following update to this post. but my question is, im looking to add a custom oobe to windows xp, so right before the oobe starts up right after the second phase of windows installing a wim installer pops up and asks you what software to install, like im going to have the to have the following options, Latest Build of one core api, Latest version of java 8, latest build of firefox, latest version of vmware workstation pro that works on windows xp, with all updates slip streamed as well, this also includes slip streamed ported, nvme, audio, networking, trackpads and keyboard and mice, and usb drivers as well as sata and ahci drivers and nvme drivers so it can install on modern hardware. this is basically going to be similar to windows xp integral edition but for windows xp pro 64bit. im also wanting to convert this over to a install.wim and use a boot.wim installation method so it has more options to install on different hardware. i know this is possible i have seen it done before, i just dont remember how it was done. if anyone if want to get into contact with me please do so via dm's. any help can be posted on this form thread as well.
