As I wrote in the post "Bought these (retro) hardware today," I bought the Asrock Fatality Z68 Professional equipped with an i7 2660.
Now, I'd like to know what's the fastest NVIDIA card I can install to: 1) experiment with VMix 2) play games more recent than those I use with a Pentium 1/II/III.
I know full well that it's a rather old card, and I don't expect it to have high performance, far from it. As for gaming, I'd like to use Star Wars Squadrons with the VR headset. I think this game is within my system's capabilities if I install a suitable graphics card, right?
I should also use this card with vmix, which is a video direction software that I currently use with a late 2013 MacBook Pro, on which it works well, which should have a CPU power comparable to the i7 2660 that equips my Asrock Z68 but the graphics card is an nVIDIA GeForce GT 750M. I would therefore like to install a much more powerful graphics card in my Z68, but since I am not very up to date on the PC side, I am not sure which one I could get... an RTX 3060 perhaps???
Thanks for your help.
