I realise this is a long shot, but I'm constantly surprised by the knowledge contained within this community, so it most definitely cannot hurt to reach out.

I've tracked down an elusive third party add-on to Microsoft Flight Simulator called Scenery Enhancement Editor, developed by Kikiware, published by Mallard.

Unfortunately the installation freezes early on, just after inputting the path to the Microsoft Flight Simulator directory. Screenshot below.

This occurs in both DosBox and 86Box. 86Box gives me a reason, whereas DosBox just locks up. The reason is the same every time: 'String space corrupt in module PB_1 at address 08A7:0508.

I'm pretty sure I'm just outta luck here, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears. I've tried slowing both emulators right down, and using FreeDOS. No cigars. 86Box is using MS-DOS 6.22.
