so i am relatively new to this dos box, but i was cleaning out my attic and i found a box of old games (along with a hard drive but thats part 2 of my question)

the games were mission critical, star reach, privateer, imperium galactica,and a few others i havent tried installing yet

well they all work except mission critical. it will load and show the 2 intro videos but after that it just closes and goes back to the promt screen. i dont even know where to start on why it wont work.

now the other part of my question is some of the games i could not find discs for, such as a game called gateway (txt based game based on the books about the heechee i think i spelt that right) anyway i was 3 extremly young when we got this computer (it had dos 3.1 95 and 98 before i finally forced my parents to buy a new one) anyway i used this computer to play old games for the longest time till we finally moved and had no space for it in the new place. so we kept the games and the harddrive but got rid of the computer. is there any way to hook this hard drive up to a modern PC and play the games ive lost the discs for but i know are still on there.
