Hi
Few days ago I was repairing keyboard in this computer. I was very happy when it started to work but I have another problem. Floppy drive is not working. Drive mounted inside is Citizen OSDA-46 and it is connected to motherboard with straight cable so drive ID must be set to 0. I have also Tulip TC40 which is also using straight cable so I used this drive from Amstrad in Tulip and it is working fine but drive from Tulip don't want to work in Amstrad. I have also some drives with jumpers which can be set on ID 0 and they also don't want to work in Amstrad but they have no problems to work in Tulip. What can I do to solve this problem? I could use some controller for FDD and IDE drive but I don't know how to set jumpers on Amstrad motherboard. I also checked the cable for continuity and it is ok. When I insert floppy into drive heads are moving so drive is seeking something but can't read the disc.
