So, there's a new bug in The Da Vinci Code (2006) introduced in v2.86.3, when trying to get into the game after starting a new game or loading a save, the game crashes with this access violation error:

It doesn't happen at all in v2.86.2 or older.

I've just given it a go but it worked for me with 2.86.3 and 2.86.4.

NV/Intel UHD 770, DX11/12, every combination.

2.86.3 was just a recompilation of 2.86.2 anyway.
I understand that a new compiler toolset can still break something in general but this is not typical of dgVoodoo.
So, it must be something that either not tied to dgVoodoo or requires some other conditions than using specific versions.
