Got my hands on something a bit special - a complete Olivetti Envision 400 P75. With the original disks, original monitor and two original keyboards (wired and wireless). Also all the original manuals, original brochure and original remote for the multimedia functions.

I'm not really sure what do with it yet. Would like to make it my main retropc, for DOS games. And maybe even use the SCART IN -connection with my C64 and Amiga. But not yet sure how much the not-standard features of the machine would hinder that. Also I don't want to tire the system out by keeping it on while using other machines.

Anyway, it's a beautiful thing and in beautiful condition. Even the tiny flap cover plastic bits were included and intact.

Oh man, such nostalgia. We had one of these when I was a kid (my dad worked for Olivetti, every PC we had was an Oli).

I’d be keeping it used occasionally, but then I tend to keep my Olivetti stuff as museum pieces and stick to using my “expendable” stuff for day to day.

That is a cool system, I love the media integration. I wonder if the SCART line is displayed on the monitor, or just for daisy chaining to a connected TV?

Slick machine. Reminds me of the Commodore (Amiga) CDTV which is fairly hard to find complete nowadays. If you do, you're wallet will suffer dearly.
