I think you got me wrong on some things.
1. The driver I am using is marked DX3, but it works with everything I tested up to DX7 (my demos require DX7).
2. The driver I am using is working with the DVD Player Software from ATI. There are several (two?) versions of the dvd-Player but I only managed to combine the driver and the dvd-player-software I use. Every other combination of driver and dvd-player throughs errors at me or hangs up the machine when starting the dvd-player software.
3. You may perhaps have run doomGL with openGL and the floor-textures and lights are rendered correctly but that is not the case in my driver-combination. I tested several OpenGL versions but they did not work for me and the issue remains the same. Keep in mind that the openGL version I am using has issues with DoomGL but works just fine for quake.
4. Of course CIF is working just fine with my driver.
5. Later Version of the ATI driver crash/hang up some direct-draw games. Like xenon2k. I had to use that old one in order to make it work.Beside the DoomGL problems the only downside that I had noticed is that acdsee3 hangs-/lockups zee machine when displaying monochrome-stuff. I have to investigate this, or switch to another picture-viewer.

2.I know at least two 3.10 version of ATi Player, one with older engine, other newer. Then there is 3.2 and 6.2, but they all look the same.
There are older ATi DVD-s, like 1.20 and 1.27, i am missing only 1.27 version at the moment. Someone has ATi DVD Player 1.27 or 127?
5. Nice to test then with this game, thanks.
