So apparently this was released about 2 weeks ago? I did a random search today and....there it was. It's a full FB-01 voice and bank editor in VSTi form. It doesn't emulate the environment of the whole FB-01 module, but it does send sysex to a real FB-01 if you have one and can save/load .SYX banks and voice data as well.

It's meant primarily as a compositional DAW tool for composing. I tried it with a couple Sierra games just for fun. It doesn't respond to sysex dumps but does respond to program changes. It interprets all MIDI data from every channel to play back on whatever instrument is currently selected. So, no "multi-timbrality". But it's wonderful to have an easy way to edit FB-01 voice data now! Being able to integrate that data into a real FB-01 is just a nice touch on top. He also added a ton of extra custom sounds that aren't on the original module. It also has infinite polyphony (unless your voice is monophonic), so it's clearly designed for composition in mind and you'd have to load one whole instance of the plugin per instrument.

I'd say it's worth checking out if you're a musician. I've been working on my own frontend FB-01 configuration/editor tool for the FB-01 via Open Stage Control and it works rather well and does control every aspect pretty well of the whole unit, but this will be far easier and more efficient to create patches with. It's available in VST2, VST3, AU, AAX, and CLAP formats.
