Initially, it contained a processor with a chipped core and a VooDoo 3 with a missing capacitor next to the VRAM. The symptom was that the 3DMark 2000 test would freeze at certain points, usually when the CPU was calculating T&L effects, which V3 doesn't support. The following steps were taken. None of them solved the problem.

1. Soldering the missing capacitor into the VooDoo
2. Swapping it with multiple different processor models
3. Swapping it with different graphics cards.

And this is where the problems usually occurred. In the case of the GF2MX, it doesn't recognize the VRAM. The Radeon 9550 worked properly. The GF FX 5200 Ultimate didn't boot. The same GF2MX works on a different computer. Similarly, the VooDoo doesn't freeze.

4. Attempted to install various versions of the chipset driver via the 4-in-1, including manually installing the AGP driver in Safe Mode. 5. Different graphics driver versions.
6. BIOS update
7. BIOS configuration, AGP aperture size
8. Reinstalling the operating system
9. Replacing the electrolytic capacitors

The ones around the AGP port had a slightly higher ESR than the rest, but still within the normal range.
