This one is a model 401000.
The front of the case says "xtra professional series" and at first glance I thought it was a regular run of the mill AT clone.
It weighs a significant amount however which is a tell tale sign.
Unfortunately some tantalum caps near the ISA slots went off like fireworks and exploded with flames.
So before I proceed any further these will need replacing.
Im not sure how it will go with the rest if they survived? There is a fair few on this board.
Anyway, this looks like its a 286 with a 287 math coprocessor too.
Am trying to find more info on this one but its much newer hardware than the xtra XL model.
Im wondering if the keyboard for the xtra XL is different, perhaps the ITT keyboard ive got is a later Azt style designed for this unit? Could explain some of the issues i had with it on the xtra XL?
