Hello!

Something I think would be real cool is if I could set up some sort of Raspberry Pi or Mini Computer to hook up to a TV to play arcade games from the early years all the way up to maybe the early/mid 2000's?

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Is there a specific Raspberry Pi/Mini-PC you would recommend?

I'd like like to use blue tooth joysticks/arcade controls as well... Is there an arcade controller you would recommend? I could see building my own... But I have no experience in that area... Yet.

Experience no, just basically an emulation box.

If you want early 2k you almost need a minipc like a nuc and likely x86 or you will be limited pre-2k in most circumstances. Mid2k can get tough even with x86 onboard graphics

There are premade emulation distributions on archive.org but you can also make your own using batoceraor mame.

If your more dos/windows inclined eXoWin9x and dos cover that.

Yes, the Raspery Pie is an option (there is a huge amount of content out there - just search for RETRO Pie)

Beyond that - your question is a bit too broad. You can do what you want probably on the computer you are posting in this forum or you can completely recreate original Arcade cabinents with CRT screens.
