trying to mod the bios to work with tualatin cpu's
this is gigabyte 6RX motherboard with AMI bios https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/gigabyte-ga-6rx

currently board will stuck at post code 29 when tully inserted.

i can confirm board is working with tualatin just by reflashing to another 3rd party board with AWARD bios, but there other issues like pci routing table and non working fdd/lpt/com/onboard audio/etc.

i found a part of code in the bios related to cpuid:

trying to nop nop JNE after checks but still code 29.

i'm out of ideas. is anyone is familiar with AMI bios modding? where is another cpu check may be?
