I like that it went back into the hands of one of its founders. Hope things continue to go well for them in the future.
Generally a good thing when one guy, especially one who actively benefits from the company's mission, controls a company vs. when a committee of any kind controls it (such as shareholders, a megacorp, etc.)

your telling me, selling drm free anything flabbergasted me back in 2011, thinking oh boy this wont last and yet here we are... I miss the old launchers doing a crc check before launching. I miss gog mixers? I remember there were lists created by users rated from green to red
Im also hopefull. In fact, I have a long wishlist (its still Christmas right ?)
- original software images / installers / language versions
- expansion of the library into early home computers when possible (Spectrum, C64, Amiga, etc)
- preservation and choice of interesting versions / variants (EGA versions, Sierra AGI / SCI etc.
