Hello,
at first I want to thank you, for all the help I already got by reading different topics and studying discussion here on Vogons! Finally I decided to create an account, to ask a question I couldn’t find an answer for.

I recently got my hands on a X-Fi Titanium (SB0880) with a SB1110 Frontpanel. There is damage on one of the two connection cables: two of the small wires were ripped of the connector.

Is there a good way to repair the connector? (I assume there are no replacement cable available.)

If anyone can help me, it would be great, thanks !

Remove the plug pin for the disconnected wires, solder the wire back to the pin and insert it again. This is a fairly simple repair but it will take a lot of tries to lift the plastic tab holding the pin in the right way and apply pressure to get it to slide out backwards. Usually you would tug on the wire but that's no longer connected. You also don't want to lift the plastic tab too high or it will deform and not hold the pin in anymore.
