Already in the original Dosbox, one can choose several Scalers like "high quality". Dosbox forks like Dosbox-X and Dosbox-staging offer even more options.
The IMHO easiest way to test Shaders is RetroArch, and therefor I have publishe a small video with the example of the RetroArch Slang Shader Preset
