The BIOS ROM is P003 Aug 1995. Looking at pictures, it seems that there is a P004 March 1996. Anyone care to share?

I found this driver disk for a Chinon Caddy CD-ROM - I think it was the SCSI CDS-535. I don't know who needs it these days but I figure it belongs here.

Looks right to me! I got rid of that drive long long ago, I remember how Master of Orion 2 had horrid load times using a 2x optical drive.

Hello vogons!

I've been using this forum a lot, though passively as a source of information. Without ever registering. What a great community! Thank you. Now I have something useful to contribute, I hope and I saw I only get an account on vogonsdrivers if I have several useful posts on vogons. I don't.

So the first thing is SciTech Snap Graphics for Windows 9x. Useful for all its functions and some of the drivers for adapters that don't support Win9x natively. So, I would just post a link but I'm not actually sure if it can just be considered a driver or abandonware. In the last case this would be the wrong place, so I didn't post a link yet. Does anyone have an answer to this?

Another thing:
I have a fortemedia fm-801, sometimes also called sp-801, which is interesting and cheap, but drivers for Windows are hard to find and often buggy and unstable. But there is this KEWL 😀 synthesizer programme for it and the website http://fm801.kewl.org/app/about/ mentions that one should use the Terratec TT-512i drivers. The links on kewl.org are dead, but the drivers can actually be found on terratec's website (Audio/512digital): https://www.terratec.de/support.php?lang=en. Might be interesting to upload them on vogonsdrivers, also mentioning fm-801 in the title?

I'd be keen to mirror this site to provide a backup if there is an rsync daemon I could connect to. I am currently mirroring the idgames archive (it's the NZ mirror on the DW idgames frontend), the Quaddicted archive and a bunch more.

I recently made a build p3 computer with an YMF724 soundcard. It was supported OEM on win2000 but the control panel for the card was not here, like on win98. I believe the NT drivers on vogonsdrivers where for nt4 and would somehow work with the card only reporting problems when trying to apply settings. So someone who collect drivers gave me the 5.12.01.2226 drivers for nt2000. He also gave me the 5.12.01.2225 but the 2226 seem to work perfectly fine and I'm yet to try if the 2225 bring anything the 2226 would had remove. So in any case, I'll put the 2226 here as I believe it's the way to contribute to the excellent vogons driver database.

A few months ago i got a Terratec XLerate Pro Aureal Vortex 2 boxed soundcard and saw that the driver CD wasn't archived anywhere, so i put it up on the internet archive. Its the 2040 drivers (Terratec Branded) in English, German and French, the wavetracing Demo's, and some shareware and freeware stuff. Its in Bin/Cue Format because there is also a Audio track. Vogons helped me a lot to get my old Pentium 3 running, so i want to give something back. Cheers!

Just wanted to report that I keep having issues loading the Driver Library. Sometimes I've had one link from somewhere fail to load and then a different link that does work. At the moment though, it takes forever to load and fails. 🙁

I tried a few files and everything seems to be responding quickly, may be a regional issue

The hosting provider has reported some DDoS activity aimed at the site, on and off, over the last few weeks.

i was struggling with Adaptec ASR-2120S 1961800 at least my card is PCI-X, but works in PCI slots too (with crippled bandwith), its nice card with 64 MB on board cache. I had problem, it not worked with Windows 7 32 bit, with original firmware b6011, but tried a luck and upgrade to newest build B8208 (its also use / reports different version - 4.2, my original was 4.0 ) and its now working - well at driver is loaded fine, before it was code 10 in Windows 7 32bit, with now firmware its fine. There some 64bit drivers too, but only XP 64bit and server 2003 are officially mentioned. For Windows 7 32 bit my drivers cards to be 22.11.2011, version 5.2.0.18668 i got trough SDI origin, or other drivers installer.

It was PITA to find last firmware so its better to archive it, here, flash command and utility is bundled.

If someone know how to make it working in DOS or Windows 98 let me know, i had not time yet to look it to it.. There are NT4, Windows 2000 a XP official drivers, but Windows 9x is ommited.. there is something about Dos in manual, at least for diagnostic and RAID creation.. Also maybe, maybe DOS driver if exist could actually work for Win 9x too..

DOS, you would assume would work if you have the option rom installed and enabled.
