First off I am still new to Vogons. However, Just recently, I went online and brought a hardware programmer for reading and writing to BIOS Chips which is an 'XGecu Pro' 'Model: T48' and I have a Gateway 2000 486 PC with a Micronics Motherboard Model 09-00144-01 and I took the BIOS out to do some experimenting with and I did manage to do a ROM Dump for a Backup, However I am unable to restore my Backup to the Chip itself with my new hardware programmer and my BIOS Chip is now blank and am unable to use it, Not only that but with the 'W20' Jumper if I set it to "BIOS Recovery Mode" to use the BIOS Recovery Disk that I made a while back which is what I was always able to do, it too no longer works. I am not sure why I am getting this 'Programming Failed' Prompt and I am also not sure why I am also unable to use my BIOS Recovery Disk with the 'W20' Jumper being set it to "BIOS Recovery Mode". I don't think my BIOS Chip has gone bad in any way as I can still read it through my hardware programmer as it shows that it is blank. What had happened is that I attempted to Program a different set of BIOS Data on to it and it ended up failing as well as erasing all Data that I had on it before and I cannot even use the BIOS Recovery Disk through my Gateway 2000 with the 'W20' Jumper being set it to "BIOS Recovery Mode".

I also want to point out that my BIOS Chip itself is an Intel with the following labeled on it to the right of the big letter 'i',,,
Row 1: N28F001
Row 2: BX-T150
Row 3: U24955P2
Row 4: (M)(C)'90'91

And in my hardware programmer's software, I have the IC Selection set to 'N28F001BX-T @PLC32' which seems to be the correct selection item as no other ones will work with my BIOS Chip.

Any ideas on how I can restore my Original/Backup of my BIOS Data to my BIOS Chip? do I need to adjust some settings in the software I am using with it? (I am using Xgpro Version 13.10) I did as much research as I Could online but did not find much. I am also not connecting my hardware programmer to a USB Hub as I saw online that I should not do so, it is connected directly to a USB Port on my Laptop PC. Do I need a different set of software for my hardware programmer? Or do I need to use a different hardware programmer? Any Ideas at all or have I rendered my Gateway 2000's Micronics Motherboard unusable?
