This looks fantastic, but I do have a couple of observations.

1. You should make sure to allow the user to specify the desired ribbon length: this is because, when using a tower case, the free slot will probably be at the bottom of the back, and the panel may end up on the middle or possibly the top of the front. I also think that, for this reason, the user should be able to decide on using the ribbon or standard jack cables; I think I do see the traditional jacks underneath, though, so that looks like to be a non-issue.
2. Would internal EMI be an issue with this type of cable?
