Hi, I know that this card supports EAX 1-4 in hardware and that it will be supported in Windows 11 as well. I would like to ask if with Creative's official drivers, this card works correctly in Windows 10 21h1/21h2 or Windows 11. With "works correctly" I mean if EAX DirectSound and OpenAL games run without any issues and if ALchemy is compatible. Games like Doom 3, FEAR, Prey, Quake 4, BioShock, Splinter Cell 1-2-3, Unreal 1-2, Far Cry, etc ... thank you

Even though they still sell the card, Creative abandoned ALchemy and will no longer put out any driver/software updates for the Audigy RX as of a few years ago, so issues will pop up. ALchemy is compatible with the card, but there is no guarantee that it will work well in Windows 11.

As you can see here https://support.creative.com/kb/ShowArticle.aspx?sid=200667, the Sound Blaster Audigy 5/RX is still supported and will have support for Windows 11, so I guess if it has any future issues, Creative should release updated drivers. I would like to know if EAX games work well today (DirectSound/ALchemy and OpenAL) with this card on Windows 10 21h2. I couldn't find any information about it.

It appears that in FEAR, EAX cannot be activated with ALchemy on Audigy RX in Windows 7-10 (although it supports EAX 4.0 in hardware). Even in Windows XP it doesn't work. Can anyone with an Audigy RX confirm?

It seems that there is a newer driver for Audigy RX, driver version 6.0.301.64 driver dated 3/28/2024, found/mentioned in a dxdiag.txt, which was uploaded by a user, at forums.ea.com in apex legends support forum:

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the files for driver v6.0.301.64 .
