I ordered this socket 7 board with atx support from Ebay and once it came delivered to my doorstep, i gently took it out and noticed this

yes it fell on the ground, yes its rusted because its pulled from the skip. Does it work tho? 😀
Crushed edge wont hurt anything, but fall itself could have cracked BGA joints. Test both in warm and cold conditions.

Bga joints? Where? I am currently waiting for my atx switch cable to come. Then I will be able to test it. Soon it will arrive.

You can just short the power switch header pins momentarily with a screwdriver or something instead of waiting for the switch to arrive. I regularly use my pocket knife or a screwdriver.

It is probably fine.
