I'm installing the sound drivers on a ECS K7SEM Rev 1.x with 98 SE and the sound drivers all look good except for an error where it can't find sndsys.cat.

It looks like it should be contained in the driver files or the cab files.... but it is nowhere.

It looks like an old sis installer below has the file I need:
sis7018win9XME.zip
WIN95_98/SNDSYS.CAT 3 bytes 24 Dec 1999

But of course the only place I can find it is crap-fest driver guide...

Does anyone have either the zip file or the cat file directly?

I either fix it or break it permanently... there is no try.

You can skip .cat files during drivers installation.
