Also Warcraft 1 is mostly 640x480 with upscaling when at the time they were working with warcraft 2 sprites they were more detailed at said resolution

Well, it is my understanding that in many cases Mac ports used scalers of some kind to automate the production of higher-resolution sprites (LucasArts adventures among those IIRC). But if you're gonna take the quality into account, then this will become completely subjective. Some of the modern "remasters" are, too, little more than AI upscales with some manual touch-ups added afterwards (if any), so what?

Also is possible that all of WC4 engine improvements were translated back to 3 when they made it since KS comes with a DOS to Win patch for WC4 DOS and a year later they would release the DVD upgrade with HD cutscenes.

Good to know that the KS ports were improved code-wise. BTW, I think that the X-Wing/TIE Fighter series also received several engine upgrades between re-releases, ending up with Windows native versions of both games. I'm not sure but I believe these were never available as upgrade patches to previous version owners, but I might be wrong on this.

Can anyone confirm if MW2: Titanium Trilogy has BOTH 3DFX Glide support AND Direct3D support? Or ONLY Glide-support?

Both + RRedline

What is RRedline exactly? Never heard of this. Updated with D3D support.

Destruction Derby 1 had a Win9x version for S3D as well as the first Wipeout (not 2097) for ATI Rage. Simearth also had a Win 3.x version.

Thank yeh, updated list.

Oooh! Rendition Verite -- one of those less known Accelerator-manufacturers, that was swallowed up pretty quickly. Man... the late 90's was a supreme time for GPU-manufacturing -- there were TONS of Chip-makers, doing their own designs, competing to the fullest, to bring quality, innovation and above all, competitive PRICING to the people! (well, after a few years 🤣, it was mega-expensive at first)

I shall add it. 😀
