I'm wondering if adapters exist that can make full use of an IDE133 port's speed on an SD card?

My CF cards are getting low on health, and new ones are becoming harder to find.

My experience is not that extensive, mostly with SCSI2SD and BlueSCSI, but quick isn't a word I associate with SD cards. Theoretical throughput in the many MB/s, like for storing a video feed, sure they have that in spades. But a multitasking OS accessing a bunch of small files, or worse a swap file? Not so much. CF feels a lot better.
So instead I just keep a stack of 250GB SSDs with Startech IDE2SAT2 adapters.
