As in title. For speedrunning purpose I'd like to uncap framerate to more than my monitor can handle. For now I I get max 144 fps as I have 144 Hz monitor. When I change it to 60 Hz then fps is capped to 60.
in conf I have (tried also value 1000)
FPSLimit = 0

Can any1 point to me what am I doing wrong?

If I'd need to put more context then do tell what details I need to share with you.

Thanks

The game runs best at 60fps. The engine can be pushed to go faster/harder, but the game wasn't designed and coded with anything above 60fps in mind and it's not really playable above that, with all sorts of gameplay sync and engine issues. That being said, I don't think you are going to get anywhere with your problem, as it's been a problem for many years that the community can't fix with patches/hacks.

FPSLimit = 0 means that no additional fps capping is taking place, but you still have v-sync if the game applies v-sync.
There is no "force no-vsync" option in dgvoodoo, I considered it won't make any sense when I introduced option "force v-sync".

Your only option is to force "no-vsync" in the control panel of the graphics driver if there is such one (NV has).
But, as has already been mentioned, I don't know if the game will work properly with that.

The community has been humping and finger-banging SHOGO with mods, hacks, and patches for 15+ years now, trying to get it to be something better than it was and there's just nothing more that can be done at this point, though long-standing attempts at porting SHOGO to later versions of LithTech, using engine source that was released with later games, have been made. Unless someone is able to fully port SHOGO to another, more modern game engine or Nightdive revamps it and re-releases it, there's no hope for anything more than 60fps.
